Coaching Director

Red River Valley Gymnastics is seeking a Gym Manager to manage our competitive and recreational programs.  RRVG services over 800 athletes participating in one of our many programs that include Women’s, Men’s, Pre-Team, Xcel, Acro and All Star Cheer as well as recreational and preschool programs.

Successful candidate will effectively collaborate with all program coordinators and coaches and act as a mentor to effectively assist in the recruitment, development and growth of our competitive and recreational programs. Additionally, the Programming Director will be responsible for organizing training, assisting with recruitment and evaluation of coaching staff and enforcement of all safety guidelines as set by the USAG.

This is a 40+ hour a week position that requires frequent evening and weekend work.

Candidate will work in conjunction with the Business Manager to formulate to the annual budget, prioritize equipment and facility upgrades and purchases, and effectively market all RRVG programs by participating in RRVG and community events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous management and HR experience
  • The ability to effectively communicate with various groups including parents, athletes and coaches
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written communication
  • Strong organizational skills

Marketing experience and previous coaching or athletic background a plus, gymnastics experience not required.

RRVG is seeking coaches for our Recreational, Preschool, and Cheer Programs.  Gymnastics/Cheer experience or a willingness to train required.  If you are motivated, enthusiastic, and dependable with a strong desire to work with children, we want to hear from you.
